Additionally, EVA has rescheduled flights (and cancelled some BKK flights) to Utapao. Check-in is done at the Bangkok Trade and Expostion Center:

Thai government ask for all airlines to rearrange check-in counter service at Bangkok Inter-
national Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC). Therefore, EVA Air will proceed check-in and
baggage service at BITEC from Dec 01, 2008. In other words, there is no more check-in
counter at Utapao Airport from Dec 01, 2008.

When customers arrive at BITEC, please go to Entrance 1 that located at 1F and please follow
the Airline check-in direction to EVA Air's check-in counter and proceed check-in service.

Eva only run flights to Utapao from London every other day.
I'm on one of the days without a flight, so it's cancelled & the only offer is a refund (via some barely comprehensible Ebookers Indian call centre).

EVA in the UK are engaged all the time, so I cannot phone them to see if they have any seats on the days when flights are running.

Need some alternatives. Any low cost airlines go from Singapore to Cambodia or some of the open Thai destinations ?

I can get to Singapore very cheaply.

If you can get to Singapore very cheaply, you can't get to Cambodia from there on this airline, but you can get to Thailand. Check it out for yourself. http://www.airasia.com/site/gb/en/home.jsp

I think Tiger Airlines still flies directly from Singapore to Chiangmai and back. At least they did a couple of years back when I flew there from Chiangmai. Relatively inexpensively too.
