Derogatory term for any non-American citizen who does not buy into American propaganda. Domestic variant is "unAmerican," used to refer to any US citizen who does not buy into American propaganda.

But Henry stands in its proud tradition - he wants to ban members who poke fun at him, rather than honour the First Amendment

    Henry's Pity Party

I can't remember a poster wallowing in so much self-pity.

    "Oh, Black people hate me".
    "Sawatdee members don't like Americans".
"Everybody wants to call me a Nazi".
"I couldn't find any friends in San Francisco".
"Everybody's pickin' on me because of my politics".
"Pacific Friends didn't like my shish-kabobs".

    Boo-hoo, boo-hoo-hoo :crybaby:

For heaven's sake man, pull up your socks!

I really expected more from a conservative Republican....oh, wait...I mean an independent Libertarian.

Well, you can always have a field day with selective quotation, especially when you rewrite as well.

The first point, which you have rewritten as "Oh, Black people hate me," I will now rewrite myself.
"After living five years in San Francisco, and one year in Atlanta, I observed that race relations in Atlanta were less hostile than in San Francisco."
The second point, "Sawatdee members don't like Americans," I think can stand.
The third point, "Everyone wants to call me a Nazi" -- has not yet happened. But they do call Bush and his administration "fascist," all the time.
The fourth point turns out not to be quite right. I now recall that I did make some friends in SF. But it was very hard going, I suspect because of my age and because of the fact that I spent the whole day working in Oakland.
The fifth point, "Everyone's picking on me because of my politics" is I think too obvious to even discuss. If I had come on as some party-line Democrat who thought Barack Obama was going to SAVE America, I wouldn't have found a significant problem. Unfortunately for you, kenc, I have significant experience with the "gay liberal" community, and exactly what their opinion is of independent opinions. Your posting is, for me, just one more example of the incredible lengths people will go to to try to score a political point. Shish-kebabs? You even went to the trouble of looking up the freeping shish-kebabs? Well, I guess the next time you spend 3-4 hours cooking food for some group, and nobody bothers to say "thank you," but they eat up all the food and give you three complaints -- well, you can post on what a jolly time it all was.

At least in Chiang Mai, they have the manners to say "Thank you." Pacific Friends has transcended all that.

By the way, if you want to find "Pacific Friends" in Chiang Mai, check out "House of Male." It's right behind my house, and I never ever go there, because the crowd is the same awful crowd.
