Speaking of her, tomorrow will be her 50th birthday! Cheers, she can retire in Thailand now.

But I am to understand that she is not allowed (to perform) in Thailand? Has she ever performed in Thailand? Will her upcoming tour come to Thailand or the rest of Asia?

But a myster surrounds her postponing her birthday bash.

Kate Bush also just turned 50. I'd be hard pressed to choose between a Madonna concert and a Kate Bush concert. Totally different artists: with Madge it's a show that dazzles with its flashy execution, but with Kate it's a show that would dazzle with her own songs and her remarkable voice. A bit of Kate Bush trivia: The microphone you see her wearing was designed at her request by her engineer. She was probably the first performer to wear one. She didn't want to lip synch while dancing, unlike the other now-50-year-old performer who perfected that technique. Kate's mike was fashioned out of a coat hanger.

I can't believe no one has a story to tell about Madonna and Thailand whether she's performed here or not. I only remeber news that she is banned in South Korea.

Apparently Madonna's current world tour "Sticky and Sweet" (why MIGHT I think she's headed here (double entendre req'd)?) does not include any Asian dates.

The youtube of Kate Bush reminded me of a Madonna video I had just seen. I wonder if anyone thinks she is 'playing' Kate Bush in this one ...
