The Bondi changed hands sometime around April or May of last year. The new owner is not gay, but he obviously knew the place was a gay hotel when he bought it, so I assume it will be staying as is.

The evenings there can be a bit loud (mostly with the kind of cheap Las Vegas 3rd tier/lounge lizard style of singing I avoid like the plague, as well as a couple of renditions of "Edelweiss" sung excruciatingly badly), though as far as I can recall it was not the owner singing. Not sure if it is every night, but each night we arrived back around 11pm or so some music of that type was being played.

The Bondi staff are still all male (a lady boy hanging about as well), but not sure if this will continue.
