Thank goodness Italian judges are showing some common sense

Italy's highest appeal court has ruled that married women are entitled to lie about committing adultery, even in judicial investigations, to protect their honour. The court accepted the appeal of a woman who had been convicted of giving false testimony to police about lending her mobile phone to her lover. He had used it to call her estranged husband and insult him.
