Why do the English always have it in for the Pope?
Anyone who wears those nice white satin dresses can't be all that bad. op:

And if you think Tony Blair is nutz wait until we have a MORMON for Pres. in the US :occasion8:

What this country needs is a good Scientologist in the Oval Office. :ufo:

    Beware those Exorcism Squads!

Oops! I guess I'm getting (Even more) dyslectic: I read that as Circumcision Squads! Nothing wrong with lace curtains...if they're on traverse rods.
Nevertheless, beware the wearer of 'pretty Satan frocks.'
About 70 years ago ol' Bendydick called those squads the Gestapo?
Anyway, the last time I cast out a demon it was for farting in bed--Or wearing golf shoes to give a Japanese massage.

It probably goes back to the seditious attempts to subvert English Monarchs since Henry VIII. Much of the history of England is a history of avoiding the influence of the Pope.

As for Blair; he disgusts me. He rode into office for his second term with a promise of gay equality. Yet on the issue of equality in employment we had to face down RC Bishops at the last hurdle when the Blair administration wobbled frighteningly. We were in danger of being the last people in England it was legal to discriminate against.
