Heavy flooding has been hitting all parts of the country since last month, making hundreds of families homeless and inundating large areas of agricultural land.

    Heavy flooding hits entire country

Nakhon Ratchasima has been the hardest hit of the northeastern provinces while Ayutthaya has been under water for weeks.

Floods are now affecting the southern region, putting many provinces under water, particularly Surat Thani and its resort island of Koh Samui.
