We play Rugby, we can't be gay!

On ITV2 the other night there was a prog' called Generation Xcess (or something) a series following drug taking and general over indulgence. The prog' featured some 'club kids' who were so crass and up their own arses you prayed for a drug overdose. The others featured were a team of Brit rugby players, out on the piss (average alcohol intake for one night = 22 pints of beer EACH).

All the time the guys were getting naked, sucking each others tits, feeling each other up, french kissing and in one or two pixellated clips they were even wanking each other. The captain was heard to say 'obviously we are not gay', but one or two were enjoying things a little too much not to be swinging at least half way.

If only football players (no not the steroid enhanced over dressed pawn pieces in American football) were as relaxed. I have been in a sauna with the Belgian national team on the continent, and was given an eyeful at every turn, can't say it was unpleasant. Most of them seemed to delight in showing off their nations assets. The Brits are still so hung up, first they need to get drunk and even then they sit in a sauna fully clothed, even the men.

If you think the Italians have the biggest in Europe you would be wrong. The Belgians have by far the largest, followed by the Dutch then Germans the rest aren't interesting enough size wise to even mention.

I am not sure why every cheap shot one can take at America or even our foot ball has to be a constant in the universe. Not everyone is chemically or genetically enhanced, it would be nice to hear about something good they do occasionally instead of all the bad.

Not everyone loves Bush as you can see. I hope you are happy when Hillary is in the White House and decisions are made when she is on the rag. Then we might well bomb the hell out of Iran and call it a bad day for an American President and Her over enhanced hormones. God help us then. Waz I understand how you must feel, but you know what they say, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts completely and all that shit, well America is no different. It is up to the rest of the world to function as opposition as there seems to be none in that country. It would all be just "great" if they confined themselves to their own country. Unfortunately for the minority of the good citizens of doodle with a free thinking brain, thats just the way it must be, as America seems to be constantly at war, indeed it has always been rather revoltingly somewhat of a war economy. The only thing that will ever make the majority of that country start using the little grey cells is deprivation.

Consumer utopia seems to dull the senses and breed apathy, an unwillingness to think, opposition eventually does come from within, but it is inevitably too late and mostly on the fucking hustings, and you are right the Democrats are no different.

As far as cheap shots go, sport in America is just one example of how things can really all go so very badly pear shaped. But don't get me wrong I have a deep and instinctual albeit selective liking of the place.
There is a stratum of the American public I have a very fond spot for, perhaps even surprising my very own sensibilities or social orientation, they are what has become known as 'trailer trash".
Like most of the old world aristocracy, and mostly in Britain today, they seem immune to their countries leadership of the day and have fallen on hard times. It is also no coincidence that their alcohol induced brains at least display a modicum of very real and spontaneous creative thought, hard to find elsewhere in America. Could it be that their spending power being limited has served to steer their minds onto other things far more interesting than those of middle America, and indeed certainly far more appealing than those with vast amounts of new spending power? This is an irony, in a country ruled by the green back, but it is one that I constantly delight in when ever I find myself in that fine country.

It is much too early to respond to this post, it was long and as best I could tell it seemed like a tennis match where the writer seemed to both like and dislike the place. The trailer trash of America is an interesting lot who seem to have pulled into its self with Mama's Chicken pie and interesting characters who have either immersed themselves in drugs for lack of anything else to do or are the mainstream church going group that managed to Vote in Bush. It was not the Upper class that voted him in, they knew better and still do. It was a grass roots effort pushed by Fox cable that threw him into the white house. Little did they know they would be the ones going to war, andeveryone else could afford not to join our voluntary army and so you have it trailer trash that you may like so well are the ones in Iraq fighting a war they blindly believe in for some reason.

The Democrats with their Pseudo socialism are no better and I expect they will pull out only to send them back to Afghanistan to finish what should have been completed there before we took on the great Babylonian Empire.

I in particular like the Middle class who seem to be both able to think and eat Mom's chicken pie as well with out going to crack corner for a boost of energy they can't afford. The ones who run America are the ones who wittingly know their money put him in there and revel in their ability to take him out as well.

The media by a long shot runs the thoughts of these so called trailer trash communities and the middle class seems to be able to think for them selves but believe in all the wrong things. They are the church goes who like to look holy on Sunday and still run out of their wife on Wednesday.

Americans are a lot of things, being taught from infancy to think for themselves they never were able to, as that take much too much energy. Better to listen to CNN or Brother Bill on FOX than actually sit down and think through all this for ones self.

The economy seems to boom no matter what Wall Street does and Wall Street and the Dow Jones recently hitting all time highes donтАЩt seem to think the world, or at least America is on the verge of extinction.

Personally, I only go back there once a year for business and get the hell out as soon as possible. What news I get is sporadic and one sided. So, I am not sure I am a good defender of the truth. I purposely don't care what they think. I like it from the outside looking in.

What pisses me off, is over generalization that everyone is a warmonger or, stupid or, canтАЩt think for themselves or, is on steroids or, fat or, just plain fucked up on drugs and Hip hop. Not all are the same no matter where I go. I tend to do a cross section every visit there and I find all kinds, shapes and sizes there.

We look at the older person in Pattaya and assume because their metabolism has slowed down and they still eat the same amounts and get fat that all Americans are the same.

Quite aside "trailer trash" are also some of the most naturally sexy specimens on the continent of North America, if you overlook the sometimes obese parents, but then that they have in common with almost every other socio-economic group in America.

A couple of fatties in Puttie Yah, is you are right not a suitable yard stick. But 50-60 million plus obese adults back home must surely count for something, no matter which way you squeeze it?
Its quite simple, give a troop of baboons an unlimited food supply high in sugar carbo and animal fat etc (even leave out for the moment preservatives and other chemical compounds) and they will adopt a sedentary life style and grow fat and ill and die.
