Xanax / Valium ...?

A few years ago, it was possible to just stroll into a chemist, ask for some Xanax or Valium and they'd happily sell it to you without a prescription.

However on my recent trips to Bangkok I tried a couple of chemists near MBK but they wouldn't sell it without a prescription.

Does anyone know if the rules have change or if it's still possible to obtain it at some chemists without a script..?

Try the two pharmacies on Rama IV between Silom and Surawong. Not sure if they will supply but are know for prescription free dispensing.

It is possible to get either one without a script. You would have to search around and the pharmacy would likely only deal with a regular customer.
