A lot of people talk about AI. Celebrities, tycoons, newsmakers. And many of us think that it is somewhere - on clusters of huge powerful servers, deep underground, powered by unlimited sources of energy. Meanwhile, technological progress has made AI accessible to almost everyone. Not only affordable shared AI like shared hosting or GPT chat, but also affordable private AI, and not just for chat.


A week ago, I took the time to do some research on graphical AI and after 2 days of reading and technical testing, I made a decision and installed graphical AI on my home computer to play with as well as make illustrations for my websites. It's amazing how smart modern AIs are right out of the box, but the most amazing thing is that they learn pretty quickly. They can draw in different styles, from cartoons and anime to realistic photographs. From just a white ball to porn scenes. Of course I tried everything )

First my tests were in cartoon style.

"3 cucumbers in jammed brown paper" test shows me what I should explain what I want more precisely:

but additional few words made sample more acceptable:

Then I got "Victorian style spoon on the plate with cup of coffee with floating cream" quite fast:

After it I tried to make people. Will skip long story and just publish some results, still in anime or cartoon or drawing styles:

AI may follow not only art styles like impressionism or cubism), but artists styles as well (like Warhol, Miyazaki), or even corporate stiles (like Disney or Ghibli).

AI may create pics in 2D, pseudo 3D and realistic 3D styles - up to deep fake. It will clothe them or undress by your instructions. Historical or fashion styles may be used.

AI knows no morale, so we should control AI. Back side of this coin - our control makes AI more slower. So, here should be found balance.

Even in relatively harmless area like graphical works, AI may step out of morale border. I found it very quickly when in early experiments AI drew some models quite young even when was instructed "age: 20yo". Lately I found reason: AI generates models by using both genders statistic.

As soon as I exclude "girls", "women" and some other synonyms, fluctuation of visible ages under the same instruction became less wide. Why it happened? I mean first results. Because most programmers are hetero males. So for own eyes pleasing they use mostly pics of women for to train models.

So, when "girls and women" appeared in "negative keys" list, results become more predictable:

last picture is from "Greece and Rome" set - I tried to understand how wide are knowledge of history and culture has AI. But face of model ethnically is still "from Egypt".

It works on different way: I can ask, but before I should train AI on Harry's photos (50-100), or to find already trained model for AI. Existed a lot of already trained models of celebrities.

AI is able to generate images with male bits and even porno scenes, including gay porno and fetishes. As well, as with celebrities, you have to have trained model or train it yourself.

For your understanding: to work with AI is like to work with genius artist. But this artist is from Mars. He knows nothing about life on Earth.

Every (every!!!) word should be already known or trained by you. It is like to grow kid. Explanation on examples. It is time consumable. So exists libraries, collections and sites where you may download models (i.e. ready explanations on AI language definitions of different things what may be used in scenes. Such models are huge: from 1-2 up to tens and hundred gigabytes. Existed somehow universal models, but it is hard to host them in your computer: weight is far above tens of terabytes.

P.S. Oh, and I forgot to mention: you can't train model directly on your computer: it is computing resource consumable. For to train model you should prepare images and then upload them to specialized "training farm" on Google or Amazon, where special software will analyze your images and write explanations in AI language how to draw your requests in specific niche.
