Relevant, albeit trivial, question: will HM the King of Thailand be attending the funeral? I can't recall ever seeing him, or his father for that matter, attending any international event, but most other reigning monarchs are apparently coming.

Not that anyone cares, including me, but I just read a list of expected attendees While a number of Asian royals are listed, HM is not. However, my personal fave, the handsome young king of Bhutan is expected, so there is that to look forward to.
