Aged Elephant Collapses

Pung Dok Mai, a 104 year old female elephant and the winner of the Long Life Elephant Award in 2001, fell sick at the Nong Nooch Garden Resort and tourist attraction on Monday. The aged pachyderm keeled over and was unable to get up again because she had apparently over-indulged in grazing on young grass, and by grass we do not mean the smoking variety, although the effects may well be similar.

Veterinarians were called in to attend to what is one of the star attractions of the Nong Nooch resort and as of this report going to air Pung Dok Mai was in a satisfactory condition and is expected to be back hauling tourists on her back again in the very near future.
