Agreed.
On the one hand we have the charming bar manager at Divarium, who brightens up the centre of Jomtien Complex and makes a positive contribution to the gay scene.
On the other, we have a miserable old troll who can't handle the idea that others are smart enough to enjoy themselves. Trying to spread misery won't work.

The real question is what Pattaya and Jomtien are like now.
I don’t even know if bars in Boyztown are open now.
BT town is open but on a much smaller scale than before. There are no Gogo bars open like they used to be. You will find that Boyzboyzboyz only serves drinks on the terrace. No Gogo boys as such. Toyboys seems to be permanently closed as does Cupidol and A Bomb.
There are two other ex Gogo bars in an adjacent Soi, Dream Boys and X Boys. Occasionally you see signs of life. Nothing worth going there for.
So what’s left? The main Boyztown Soi only as far as Panorama. That’s it.
As indoor entertainment is still forbidden you have to sit and drink in the Soi or an open air bar. There is a nightly show (in the Soi) accompanied by very very very loud music. That’s when it’s time to move to Jomtien.
Jomtien has taken over as the Centre of Gay Life. Unfortunately no Gogo bars but many restaurants and bars. All open until 11 pm.

Even though gerefan2 is merely a tourist his assessment is accurate so it begs the question do you come to Pattaya knowing that Jomtien Complex is the only offering…..No GoGo bars……Customers average 60+ years old……the majority of the “boys” are fem twinks?
If my description is not your cup of tea I’de wait till some degree of normalcy returns and set my sights on Bangkok.

Certain morose farang live in Pattaya themselves, whilst constantly telling others to stay away and move away. Follow actions not words.
Jomtien is stuffed full of cute lads. That's where I'll go, until someone identifies a better destination.
As for persistent criticism of the lads appearance, well does the one offering the criticism look like Mr Universe or like the back end of a bus ?
