We now know that the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff moved to take control as an apparently unhinged president (Trump) tried to hold onto office. Who’s to say his Russian equivalent won’t do the same. Putin seems focused on humiliating his top Army and intelligence officials publicly (on television)
If ex British Special Forces and/or ex U.S. Navy SEALS facilitated Zelensky's transport out of Ukraine, the Russian parliament would be the last ones to know where he was taken. Evidence of this remains to be seen, but if in fact he has been moved to safe-ground, Putin would have to launch another attack (oh, sorry, "operation") only this time into NATO territory. Western news media giants, including CNN, have stopped broadcasting from Russia and are closing down shop. This decision came right on the heels of Putin creating a new law imposing a mandatory 15 YEAR PRISON SENTENCE for any Russian who criticizes HIS invasion of Ukraine. Go figure!
