No one card will stop work here: Russia has internal bank interchange system - MIR, - only payments when Russian is traveling abroad involves real Master card / Visa servers.

As per ruble rate, we saw it already in 2014, in 2-3 weeks it will be back: national reserves are quite big.

I have no idea what conditions will be offered to Ukraine. I think there will be: neutral status written in constitution, to forbid Nazi ideology and Nazi parties/movements, dropping "Language law" and allowing Russian language, Russian schools, TV in Russian language in provinces where Russians are more than 5% - i.e. local state language.
