    5C is actually about 41F.

The Moscow weather forecast for May 9 was an overnight low of +5C. But, at 10AM, the temperature should have been approaching the forecast high of +10C (https://www.accuweather.com/en/ru/mo...weather/294021).

If one looks at any of the news reports on YouTube of the parade, there seem to be no rugs donated by the organizers being worn by guests in the grandstand or anywhere else. No-one seems to be wearing gloves scarves or hats (apart from the military, of course), e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5XipvDHxwI). Putin clearly is not, though he is wearing a heavy coat (perhaps to cover the bullet-proof jacket he has been speculated as wearing: https://www.express.co.uk/news/world...russia-ukraine). The Times of Israel's comment on the weather was that "the sun was glinting off Putin’s bald head as he waved to the thousands of soldiers lined up in tight rows (https://www.timesofisrael.com/very-b...-to-celebrate/).

    Re: The Brink of War?

Russia has apparently cut the electricity supply to Finland immediately following Finland’s announcement that it would be joining NATO.

Finland has already responded that Russia provides a very small percentage of Finland’s electricity so there’s no major concern. One would expect that risk management performed by Finland leading up to its decision to join NATO would have already planned how to mitigate this risk. Some say “It’s impossible to read Putin”, others are now saying “You can read him like a book”.

    https://edition.cnn.com/europe/live-...0fd58db9d255b4

    Putin is losing it. Why?

Finland and Sweden’s membership in NATO will redraw the geopolitical map of northern Europe and create a largely unbroken ribbon of member states facing Russia from the Arctic to the Black Sea. In doing so, the land border between NATO countries in Europe and Russia will effectively be doubled from approximately 770 miles to 1,600 miles (1,034 kms). This geopolitical change puts Russia at tremendous risk in the event there was a military conflict between Russia and NATO member countries.

The U.S. has a Patriot Defense Missile System (and other assets) deployed in Poland as a proactive measure to counter any potential threat to U.S. and Allied forces and NATO territory – which underpins NATO’s commitment to Article Five.

Putin has never been happy with this missile defense system being so close to Russia’s border (major understatement), and now with Finland joining the Alliance, it’s highly likely that the U.S. will be deploying additional Patriot Systems (and other assets) along Finland’s eastern border as well.

    Also this week:

“Ukraine appears to have won the Battle of Kharkiv”:

    https://nypost.com/2022/05/14/russia...le-of-kharkiv/

Don’t even try to figure out what Putin’s thinking now – because he hasn’t the foggiest clue what to do next. In the words of Finland’s President “Moscow only has itself to blame for this”.

It is how West mass media explain to you? By fact Finland can't pay for electricity because of Western sanctions. As soon as money finished, Russia stopped to supply electricity: no money - no honey.

Forecast was wrong. It was windy day, with sometimes rain+snow. Low snow clouds at area of basing of aircrafts were exactly reason why flight program was cutted.

Note that the document to which you link clear states "Forecast," not "Historical record" at the top of the second column (https://www.worldweatheronline.com/m...w-city/ru.aspx).

Your comment "Forecast was wrong. It was windy day, with sometimes rain+snow. Low snow clouds at area of basing of aircrafts were exactly reason why flight program was cutted," does not explain how "the ground portion of the parade took place with good visibility and under only somewhat cloudy skies" (see, e.g., https://www.forbes.com/sites/craigho...h=1b6e05857f1a), and (as noted earlier) "the sun was glinting of Putin's bald head" (https://www.timesofisrael.com/very-b...-to-celebrate/). Videos of the parade show only broken cloud and flags not flapping in high winds (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5XipvDHxwI).

If your figure is correct about the weather at 10AM in Moscow on May 9, why is no-one's breath steaming? Breath will steam when the outside temperature is less than 45 degrees Fahrenheit or 7.22 Celsius. At 5 Celsius, there should be white clouds of breath everywhere!
