As Russia Stalls in Ukraine, Dissent Brews Over Putin's Leadership.

The following statement was taken from the article linked below. It really caught my eye because this is exactly the type of delusional nonsense Trump was telling his supporters shortly before he was defeated in the last presidential election.

“The Russian leadership (meaning Putin) can’t lose,” said Andrei Kortunov, director-general of the Russian International Affairs Council, a research organization close to the Russian government. “No matter what, they will need to end this whole story with some kind of victory.”

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/russia-st...114746446.html

The only problem with Mr. Kortunov's statement is that Putin may not have any choice but to admit defeat.

Ukraine has already told him that the concessions he's demanding are totally unacceptable...end of story. NATO isn't about to budge in their support of Ukraine and is getting bigger and stronger as we speak, and the West isn't about to stop expanding its alliance across the European continent until Putin is history.

Sorry, that's just the way it works.

    Funny conclusion.

Do you remember? Putin always has what he want.
2/3 of nationalists battalions are already destroyed.
Soldiers of "Azov" deserting from Mariupol dressed in woman clothes.
Sanctions are not able to stop operation.
    Firstly weakened ruble plays back.
For to pay for gas EU will sell to Russia whatever it wants and nobody can control it since payments are going in rubles via Russian banks
Crimea again has water via previously blocked by nationalists Crimean channel
Ukraine doesn't control Azov sea anymore

Below is world map with countries what support sanctions:

Yeah, Dodger! Putin is playing 4d chess, not bullshit checkers. Losing 40k soldiers and 5 generals in a month with little gains? All part of the plan.

Another $2 billion owed in ~8 days. Let's see if the US banking system accepts sanctioned funds again. I'm going to assume they'll be under extra pressure to reject it after Putin's "Rubles only" stunt earlier today.

Obviously, I'd prefer to be at a house party in Asia with a bunch of cute gay guys, but no idea what Laos is doing. They said phase 2 of re-opening starts April last winter, but so far crickets on their end as to if anything is happening on Apr 1st.

Why not write 4,000,000, Matt? Nobody can check, but effect of propaganda is better. You even twice overlapping Ukrainian numbers in Ukrainian news )))

By the way: Zelenskiy so afraid other political power in Ukraine - he even forbade party of first Ukrainian president after coup 2014 - Poroshenko.

    Re: The Brink of War?

Russia’s usually high-profile defence minister has not been seen in public for almost two weeks amid reports he is suffering from ill health as the Kremlin’s invasion suffers setbacks in Ukraine.

Sergei Shoigu, a close ally of Vladimir Putin who has previously been photographed alongside the president during fishing trips in Siberia, gave his last public engagement on March 11.

The 66-year-old is one of the country’s most popular ministers, largely due to his constant presence in the news, and there has been speculation he could be a successor to Putin - or the leader of a coup against him.

Agentstvo, a respected Russian media outlet, on Wednesday quoted an unnamed source in Mr Shoigu’s inner circle saying that he was “unwell” and had “heart problems”.

The defence ministry would not comment on Mr Shoigu’s disappearance when contacted by London's Daily Telegraph.

Yeah. But his UK counterpart - Ben Wallace is speaking from every iron now after prank from Russian prankster Vovan. By the way: Wallace said what UK will support Ukrainian nuclear weapon developing program.

PS: Vovan is known journalist in Russia. He made pranks with many public persons including Russian ministers, foreign presidents, senators and other public persons, even Elton John once has been victim of his prank .
