British Airways cancels Bangkok

I travelled Swiss last year and it was on time both ways to the minute. And that included several rebooking for the return journey. Swiss never cancelled or delayed anything.
Sadly they use the uncomfortable B777.

Check the Middle East carriers or Swiss. Nowadays a guaranteed flight needs a change en route. There’s nothing reliable direct from London.

The Thai Airways flights to Phuket seem to be operating fine. I've had several friends on those flights without a problem since the start of Test and Go, and will shortly be able to tell you from personal experience.

Finnair is worth a look. Good prices.

TG911 LHR-BKK has been operating 4 times weekly since the start of November and probably beyond. I flew in on AirFrance via CDG (no direct flights from Northern England so a transit cannot be avoided). There were 40 passengers on a plane seating 381 and, upon asking, I was told that the previous flight had only 34 passengers, but they didn't cancel. With a change of visa I was able to delay my return flight without problems and at no cost other than the fare increase.
