Ones to Watch.

Red Notice. It's the latest film from Dwayne Johnson. A crime caper with lots of twists, great action set pieces and nicely played quips throughout. Following on from Johnson's recent triumphs, Jumanji and River Cruise he's pretty much established himself as the king of the adventure genre.

The new series of Curb Your Enthusiasm has lost none of the chutzpah of the originals. Out hero still finds himself in the most unlikely of circumstances and he still gets annoyed by the same every day things that annoy us all.

Tiger King, Series Two sees Joe Exotic locked up but still broadcasting, the previous cast of crazies just a little bit crazier and the same WTF standard as before. Even a cameo from that old charmer OJ Simpson.gets a look in.

An old favourite Succession is now at Episode 5 of Season 3. Sadly no more sex scenes between Gerry and Roman so far, but the dynamics of the Ivanka Trump/Jared Kushner couple are always interesting

The best line so far: “The only reason your hands are clean is that your brothel supplies a manicurist”

In a further twist it turns out that, as expected...Carol Baskin's ex husband is far from.dead but living in Costa Rica.

Christopher And His Kind.
A 2011 film starring Matt Smith and Douglas Booth. Set in Berlin during the 1930s it's about the gay writer Christopher Isherwood. There is of course the rise of Nazism and the attitudes to homosexuality but really it focuses on the nature of relationships and how they change over time.
