Well Dune finally arrived in HD on the free/illegal site I use.

A right turkey. Part Star Wars, part Lawrence of Arabia, part Tremors and part Turkish Delight advert.

Often hard to follow as over loaded CGI movies tend to be and difficult to know what's real and what's a dream. The big set pieces are few and far between and they fail to thrill. Again, due to CGI so the screen is just different shades of grey.. An overbearing one dimensional soundtrack doesn't help as every interesting character is killed off one after the other. I felt that I was watching a film directed by a committee such was the confused nature of the 'plot.' Ponderously long at 2h 25mins.

But, Timothee Chalomet is excellent and beautiful to look at so there is that no suppose.
