We should compare that with the base rate:

Considering the population as a whole, over 99% of people recover anyway & I suspect the average age in prisons would be lower, so increasing survival rates.

A little more information is needed to decide if this is reliable, or more bullshit, like the story last year where a Thai doctor claimed to have a very effective treatment after processing just a handful of patients.

If they have results for a reliable double blind trial, it might be worth considering.
