    Indeed, but does anyone know if this goes for the gay bars too?

    Hahaha, I am assuming that there are such bars still in Phuket.

    I would expect that if the bars in Bangla are opening the gay bars in the Paradise complex, just around the corner, should be opening too.

    However the context for this is that, even it's heyday, the gay bar scene in Patong was miniscule compared to Pattaya or Bangkok. And it's heyday was long gone even prior to covid.
