Amusing to see that Earn (who I always thought of as Eard) is giving the reversed-hand V-sign, which is usually considered the rude, aggressive version. I don't suppose he intended it. He looks happy enough despite a snowy backdrop that would send a chill through most Thais just to look at. He is bright, as has been said, and good with languages, and those are among the factors giving Thais a good chance of making a success of it when they go to live abroad with a farang. Anecdotally, I’ve heard of about as many success stories as failures.
