The most effective way of killing viruses in an enclosed environment is ultraviolet light. In order for a virus to pass from a surface is for someone to touch the virus and then touch a transmission route into the body. Laboratory tests don’t often translate into real-world outcomes enough to make the slightest difference

I'm hoping colmx wakes me up when there are documented cases that show incontrovertible evidence of surface transmission of the virus. Until then surface-to-human transmission via the virus surviving on surfaces, no matter what laboratory experiments have found is a discredited theory
