Neal was told by a poster that he would be remembered in the worst way but Neal didn’t care. He was liked and admired by some and despised
by others. Now that I’m thinking of it there were some similarities with trump.

Sorry to return to old topics but needs must....anyone who knows the guys of Boyztown of an earlier decade or two well will tell you that Neal was deeply respected by those on the scene. P didn't know him personally but he knew many who did and told me this often.
Perhaps in the early days, most certainly not towards the end ! he was perhaps feared by some (as he was full of threats and bile by then) and was adamant that everyone was out to con him / rob him / cheat him ( which he wasn't to wrong about and even his own staff who "thought so highly of him ?) stole a lot from him - if he was to be believed).
But deeply respected, towards the end, no. As well as those who perhaps said nice things I also heard plenty of people who hadn't a good word to say for him ( behind his back) - and a lot of that was caused by his own actions towards others I should add - but as you said it's an old topic and one that probably doesn't need rehashed.
Guys, this thread is about the death of a former member so perhaps we should confine our comments to him.
Much has been written about Neal in the past. If there is more (there surely can't be much), it would be better if a new thread were created, keeping in mind that negative comments are to be avoided according to the Rules and Guidelines.
