The bit I find interesting is:

The sex amounted to rape because the escorts' consent was given on the basis they would be paid

So refusing to pay a sex worker qualifies as rape? I guess that's fair enough.

But does that mean we now need to get receipts?

Wow ! The Law really is an ass in this case,or at least a piece of ass.

Seriously that is ridiculous , it should be appealed on the basis their consent was not given with conditions,either directly or implicitly ,consent was freely given. By all means charge him with failure to pay for services but rape,thats not right.
It is a selective interpretation by the prosecution,almost spiteful,and destroying a mans life in the process.

I think to keep ourselves right we should insist on a written quotation for services to be rendered, a receipted invoice showing proof of payment and also insist on taking photos and videos for ourselves to keep showing proof of delivery ! :-)
