    Sounds good to me!

I honestly never heard of it before...but after doing a bit of reading, there's no doubt that PrEP is very effective. I don't have the need for it now, but if the need ever surfaced I'd be PrEPing every day.

Does PrEP also protect you if you're on the bottom?

I prefer Top - but find myself flip-flopping on occasion. Honestly, the older I get the more I flip and the less I flop, if you get my drift.

Someone has mentioned in this forum sometime ago that PrEP is very popular among the consumate bottoms.

Most of the apps now let you indicate if you are on PreP or not.
My unscientific research is that 80% of the MBs (or good time boys) that are on apps around Silom claim* to be on PrEP these days. The Pulse Clinic (PReP center - https://www.pulse-clinic.com/) is right next to the stairs at Sala Daeng BTS and impossible not to pass on the way to DJ station

In Pattaya it was far less prevalent. But now that SWING are offering it I would guestimate that 30% of the boys on apps in Pattaya now claim* to be on it.

*Note I say claim as its hard to know if they are actually taking it or just state that to make it easier to clinch a customer

I fear you're right there as it's hard to imagine a hard core whisky drinking late night partying MB following a daily tablet regime - mind you some of us do it so I guess it's not "impossible" but I certainly wouldn't like to be depending on that.

The point being of course if "we" are on Prep then it shouldn't matter so much as to whether they are or not as that is their business and not ours and as we're taking care of our own health then that's the best we can do re that - well aside from choosing to wear condoms of course ( as I still would do in that situation) to reduce the risk to myself and the other guy or possibly picking up other nasty STI's too of course - the risk of which still can't be ignored in my book, but that's perhaps more a personal thing based on my own personal circumstances of course.)

without being too blase i'm not worried about your ordinary STDs...all can be treated and all can be caught even if one uses a condom....I should know as I've had them all...I do give my body a break and stop taking prep for a week every now and then...but its so liberating to fuck bareback...like being a teenager again...

Good luck and congratulations if your doctors have managed to cure you of hepatitis B, herpes or HPV, that’ll be a medical first!

colmx: Thanks for the useful information.

At the risk of sounding totally out-of-touch again, what is SWING?
