My advice is to go down to Cebu City instead.
It is much less congested than Manila and has a wide choice of Hotels.
If you want the beach, book one of the Resorts on Mactan Island.
But they are far from other parts of the City.
Otherwise stay in Cebu City or Mandaue and enjoy the Malls and Restaurants.
My pick is Ayala Center!!!

SURE...
Ayala is the Premier Mall in Cebu City. It is very large and includes not only Shopping but Restaurants and Bars.
The other main Mall in Cebu City is SM in Mandaue. It is also very large but older. And there is a NEW SM that is even bigger. Sea Side. But I have not been there.
I usually book a Condo in the Crown Regency Towers, the building is named Ultima Residences. It is located near Osmena Circle. Very central and has a small Robinsons Center near it. I have also stayed at the Quest Hotel next to Ayala Mall. I can recommend it. Only rated 3 Stars but I found it better than that. It has a great swimming pool that my Filipino friend loved and the restaurant is good.
Back to Ayala. The main department store there burned down over a year ago. However there is a Rustan's Department Store there that is very Up Scale. And many many Specialty Shops. The main restaurants open onto the central Garden Area, called the Terraces. There is a new area of Restaurants and Bars on the very top Floor. Also worth checking out. OH and I should mention the Cinemas. There are 5 and all first run movies. But if you want to experience IMAX you need to go to SM Mandaue. It has the only IMAX Cinema in Cebu.

BKK, Pattaya & Chiangmai used to be my favorite, But now, Manila has become my first pick when I planning my trip, I have been to Manila several times now, ( 11 times , just checked entry’s stamps in my passport ������)Gay hotel??? .... I’m not sure there are any hotels specifically cater for gay customers like BBB inn BKK and Mosaik pattaya, Most of the hotels that I stayed in Manila are friendly to gay customers, I once had 4 boys having fun in my room, no questions asked, just be discreet and only one boy can stay overnight (hotel policy) , I must say that I am easier to blend in with Filipino boys coz I’m Eurasian ( half Chinese/half Portuguese),I saw WGM with their cute Filipino boy go in and out of hotels lobby, have not heard nor seen any disrespect comments from the staff. TripAdvisor website tends to be helpful to book cheaper accomodation than hotel website, look under holiday rental, for people like to shop, Mall of Asia, GloriettaMakati, Robinson Mall, SM mega Mall ( Google the place ) I’m going back to Manila in my Easter break , will be staying in Araneta center in Cubao, I will post some pictures or comments here in SGT, watch the space ������
Gay club, Gay sauna, Gay Pub in Manila used to be concentrated in area calls Malate , now, they spread around all over Manila, place like QC = Quezon City, cubao, ortigas..... they closed down and moved frequently, so u go to a club and return a few months later, the club might not be there any more, the more established places that I had visited are white bird in Pasay and O Bar in ortigas, they’re no comparison to the bars in bkk and pattaya, More like the bars in Chiangmai, scattered all over the place, most of the gogo boys are straight boys, muscular manly guys, ( unfortunately not my type ������: my type of boys are young , slim boys, boys with dark skin come to the front ������ ������ ������) So u asked!! Why keep going back to Manila? Wait for part 2, I’m running out of time for now ......

Picking up boys in BKK, PATTAYA, I usually go to gogoboy bar, Bar drink, Drink for the boys, tip for Mamasan, fee paid to off the boy then U have to deal with the ST/LT scenario, language barrier , COME to Manila, Wolla!!!!! U don't have to deal with those anymore, ( okay!! there are not as many boy's bars as @ BKK, PATTAYA) U have the APP, Planet Romeo, Blued, Jack'd, Grinder, Hornet, Rent.Men..( this is an escort service, if U want an instant fix), Instead going to boy bar, I go to Starbuck, Gloria Jane's coffee, Donut king, having my fav coffee and cake, Fire up the app on my phone,( Free WIFI ), chat or video chat with the one you like, make your offer and what's your expectation from him....... YES!! he is talking/chatting to you in ENGLISH, English is my second language, some of the boys speaks better English than me..WOW. BTW most of the boys are uni/college students, they are doing it to get extra income to buy a new phone, new cloths etc... so be warned! if you are not their type, they may reject your offer, In Manila, you need to put in some effort to get the boys you want, unlike in BKK or PATTAYA, just go to any gogobar, pick and choose which one you like..... just brought back some memories @ boy boy boy bar, the mamasan always speak on the microphone, " which one you want, which one you like" funny!!!
TIPS.... speak for myself, the most successful app I used to pick up boys are.....
