Typical of your utterly confused thought processes. Someone's wage is independent of the quality of their work - like a restaurant meal; some are excellent, some are duds but you pay the price on the menu not the price you think the meal is worth
Next time I go to Screwboys or some other bar I will ask for the menu of young men's off fees. Though if a massage shop can have a menu (minimum tip xxx baht) why not a go go bar?. They might have to call it 2 hours company but we will understand.

A very good book is 'Everything is Negotiable' by Gavin Kennedy. If there is no menu the price is negotiable. Sellers have written menus to imply the price is fixed. It often isn't. And I think Matt is right that: "the sex crazed maniac is worth a little more in pay than the dud". But I still pay the young men in Bangkok 2,000 baht for short time, even if they are no good in bed. It is not a job I would want to do. I will save my haggling for fancy hotels and the like which don't deliver on the contract. I once got $200 back from a hotel in Asia for that and immediately gave it to the lads working in the go go bars.
That's not in dispute. What his addled brain seems to be attempting to articulate is that it may be tough to determine what a sex worker is worth to the customer, not what their wage is
I've always regarded the Japanese as total animals at sex (thank god) - the average encounter with a Japanese guy is way, way better than, say, with a Thai guy
