Well-said and I agree with you 100%. Those who pooh-pooh the value of faith and spirituality to these boys and the socio-economic group they come from - no matter how ridiculous the practice of that faith may appear to their jaundiced western eyes - clearly don't understand the role faith played in sustaining these boys while they were in that cave. They've said so many times in Thai interviews. Best to stick to filming scenes of Boyztown bars and naked hoes as that's as close to Thailand as you're ever gonna get.
