International AIDS Day today..

We dined tonight at Ambiance in Boyztown and found out there was a soi party.
Boyztown was festooned in balloons tonight. A small stage was set up and bars all had extra seating. Very festive and
a good crowd. The first act was El Duo. Two Philippine young guys who sing well together and are easy on the eyes.

El Duo will perform again this Thursday at Venue in Jomtien Complex.
The purpose of the gala was to raise money for Dr. Phillip, who has a large clientele of Thai guys with AIDS.
There’s an official ‘after’ party tonight at Boyz Music after midnight..

There was a time when Boyztown could close off the soi and charge a fair old wack for tickets to one of these things. Not any more.

It’s a shame that the party was never mentioned on here beforehand....I for one didn’t know....or did I miss it?
