Leicester City Football Club owner feared dead in helicopter crash

Leicester City Football Club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, a Thai multi Billionaire, is feared dead after his helicopter crashed last night. It was taking off from the football ground at about 8 pm after a match and crashed immediately after departure into the car park outside.

News reports indicate that the aircraft exploded on impact and fears are that all on board perished, although Police are yet to announce details.From the videos available it is unlikely anyone survived.

It is a double tragedy because the 12 Thai boys rescued from the cave near Chang Rai are presently in the UK, and yesterday were at Manchester United football Club to see them play.

It's looking like he was killed in the crash. If so then he'll pass into legend in Leicester with a statue erected in the main square.

Just been confirmed by the Club that he died in the accident. The others involved have not yet been named.
