I first met W a few years ago. He was working outside a massage place and I was immediately captivated by his slightly Roman good looks, floppy hair and smile as he said "hello sir, do you want a massage. He was on his first day, new to the scene and completely unprepared. Ignoring my own 'perfect off' advice I offed him immediately and whisked him back to my hotel. From there things went somewhat downhill. He didn't do anything except massage but was still expecting a full 1000 baht tip. When I told him that he was being unrealistic and that 500 was a fair price for massage only he started complaining about his 5 brothers and sisters that he had to support, got dressed and left. I'd totally fucked it up with him while still believing his expectations were out of kilter with the going rate. We passed each other frequently, never acknowledging, but he was still the cutest boy in town. Some time later he moved to a go go bar and it was torture to see his slight frame in tiny white briefs on the stage knowing he was out of my reach. As soon as he saw me he would turn to the boy next to him and tell him what a complete shitbag I was. However I'd offed quite a few boys from that bar and they'd always been great offs so I suspect the slagging off from W fell largely on deaf ears. One side point is that I never saw him offed or even sit with a customer. The reality is that few customers will off a boy who doesn't do anything at all and I think he found his time there difficult. Eventually he gave up and went back to the massage place. He was still the cutest boy in the soi and I was still transfixed by him, even more so due to his reticence to actually perform anything sexual. Time passed and it had been a couple of years since I first saw him.
I regretted the way things turned out, I didnt handle it very well and wished I could right it and anyway, he was still so fucking cute. Half the boys in the soi call out and flirt and say hello every time I pass but from W all I got was a cold stare. Anyway it was too late now, there was bad karma between us and no way to ever be friends again. Then one night I sat in a few bars over the course of the evening and watched W. He was thin, pale and gaunt and clearly had not a single.baht because he was asking every boy who bought food if he could have some. He was at rock bottom and i felt for him. I waited until he was sat in the right place and then I made my move. I walked up to him, and said.
"W, you look like shit, total shit. Eat some food. You look like shit."
And with that I gave him a 1000 baht note which he politely thanked me for and then I walked off. The next night as I passed, his colleagues told him to come to me and offer a massage but actually we both knew that this was not the right time. The bad karma had only just moved out and the new one needed some time to get unpacked so we just nodded nicely and left it at that. I was visiting Pattaya 5/6 times a year so I could afford to be patient. It was on the next trip that I finally got to enjoy W. He came up to me and asked me if I want a massage. I said I do but he has to kiss otherwise I won't. He thought briefly and said 'nik noi kissing. " No, I replied, not nik noi, lots." He agreed and so off we went. His massage was sexual beyond my hopes with his own unique twist that no one else does and he kissed with the passion that only straight boys have and it was worth waiting for. At last and a few years too late but I had had W. Now I have at least one massage from him every time I'm in Pattaya and if I don't see him then I miss it but look forward to the next time. Sometimes he doesn't feel like it and so he goes to work to avoid the fine but doesn't actually seek or accept clients. On those few ocassions I just say 'thats a pity' and leave it at that. I'll have one tomorrow. He tells me I'm the only customer he kisses and I choose to believe him because I like to believe it. I've had many massages with him and every one has been wonderful and I hope to enjoy many more with the cutest floppy haired slightly Roman looking boy Cambodia ever produced.

I love a Happy Ending. Full marks for perseverance and for reminding us- not that most have forgotten- that these guys are human beings and respond to kindness.

I had a similar experience with a Pattaya masseur many years ago. After a successful session in my hotel room, I foolishly told him that there'd be a replay before I went home. Unfortunately for him, I had just met P and was.... well, enamoured. In other words, there was no place in my diary. He reminded me of my promise the next time I passed him. On a subsequent visit, I couldn't go to Family Mart without receiving an accusing stare . Eventually, just before I went home, I came out of that shop and handed him a few hundred baht. I was still embarrassed and so I didn't wait to see his reaction.
Whether it melted his heart or not, I don't know because he wasn't there when I next went to Pattaya. Nor ever again. My last view of him was as an active participant in a threesome on a porn video. I forgot to mention that he was cute. And he certainly was on the screen.

I know my way of looking at this is not popular. However, if you had paid the 500 ( $15) and explained the issue to him you might have collapsed the time frame of this. I mean, remove the period of hate and mistrust and you get to the end of the game a lot quicker

My regrets over the issue are clearly there and don't require further tut tutting thank you very much. I prefer to look at it that the cutest boy masseur in Pattaya only kisses me. So I'm informed.

TOTALLY off message, but Arsenal surely you could make your long story much more easy to read if you employed sentences which are not never ending, and a few paragraphs placed in proper spots so folks can take rest. It's kind of like "white noise".

Kerouac had an excuse ... he was a heroin addict and he was called "eccentric anti-reader". But that's not you. I liked your story a lot. I liked my headache much less.

Haha. I wrote it on a smart phone lying in bed while drinking coffee, looking at the news, smoking cigarettes and thinking about W whose acquaintance I shall be rekindling shortly so ya get wot ya get.
