It isn't that obvious as you think. 3 mods were appointed as a frequent users who makes less poisoned comments to other member's posts and have civilised behavior and haven't behavior as a bunch of snakes in one box. Simple.

Francois is right, a447 and Christian do very little moderating and that's not even remotely a criticism.

However, they all post less than they did before (Jellybean too) This is why I think all three should step down and get back to posting. The board could do with their varied input. Christian with his minutiae on Thai life, a447 with his enjoyable and acerbic style and Jellybean's colonial viceroy delivery.

success means different things for different people - so on a scale of 1 - 10:

- for Theresa May (quoting from (bad) memory from the BBC Radio 4 News Quiz the other week) 1 is dancing on to the stage at a party conference to Abba, 5 is running through a field of wheat, 10 is getting a Brexit deal through both the local and EU parliaments

- for latintopxxx 1 is riding a bar boy like a pony for 500 Baht, 5 is riding a bar boy like a pony for 400 Baht, 10 could well be becoming a moderator here
