I know only that place - Thai friends took us to there few times. Crowded field, scene, Isaan music and a lot of alcohol and food

Actually the red Thingy is a bit away from 3rd road and makes it look as if the place is on a side street. It isn’t, it is right on 3 rd road.

You're quite right gerefan2.
The approximate location is about 100M to the left of the red indicator, somewhere on the triangular patch between Sip Chet and Pattaya 3rd Road.

Yes Gerefan2 please visit Castro as soon as poss and report back. I can't even remember how much drinks were at Castro as bf tends to check-bin when out together. Well I remember the swimming show tank was still there behind the performers so if Gerefan reports that no such thing still exists then I'll blame the lapse on 'Pattaya Syndrome'.

No go go boys at Castro. However the dancers stood around on the stage prior to the show (and maybe after but I didn’t stay), so maybe they are looking for offs?

Thanks for that gerefan2, I'm sure now I mixed up with XBoys as I visited both places for the first time in a very long time last trip, both had a show which when finished virtually all the customers left almost immediately and it must have been at XBoys I thought 'how do these boys get offs after the shows?' And I do remember seeing 2-3 cute lads at XBoys on stage.

It was compounded by asking bf next day, as I always do when trying to work out where we had been the previous night, the question...…."did Splash/Castro (Splash is the name we've always used when referring to the bar now known as Castro) have gogo boys?" answer..."yes!" me...."I thought so". He, in hindsight, probably referring to Splash a decade ago and me referring to previous night.

Anyway it looks like this may be one of the last Pattaya trip reports, as by the way things are heading it's hardly going to be worth posting notes on the few venues that will be left. As another poster mentioned.....you will be able to see for yourself when you come the whole lot in about 10-minutes.
