I was somewhat taken by this article in The Telegraph about perceptions of sexuality among "young people". In particular I found myself agreeing with the news that "three in five of British 15 to 16 year olds think sexuality is a scale". Heavens, bring out the smelling salts, they have embraced the idea of the Kinsey Scale, a finding almost 70 years old but still anathema to many of our members who think there's such a being as a wholly heterosexual (or, as they say, "straight") guy from whom they can take it up the arse. If he's having sex with another guy, even for money, he's not wholly straight, whatever your fantasies might tell you

there is simply no way of proving or establishing if someone is straight ...I class myself as 100% gay but in my earlier years had sex with females just to see what all the hoopla was about...it was OK but not something i'd care to carry on doing. All my sexual fantasies and dreams are gay...no females..I have no interest in pursuing them or having a relationship with one..

You'd think becoming a bottom would be a great business move for straights servicing old gays whose only attraction to them is their money. It takes away the stress involved in trying to get it up and remaining hard.

I've put this question to many guys over the years who identify as 100% straight, and I've heard two different answers.

The first one is that being straight, they do not want to do something so "gay." They often say "I man, not lady." But if course, many of us have met the straight guy who tells us he's only a top when talking to us in the bar in front of his mates, but in the room is willing to put his legs up in the air. He's saving face in the bar but in reality has made an excellent business decision. Being a bottom allows him to have as many customers as he wants in one night, provided he doesn't cum.

But the most common reason is that it's painful. And at first, that's certainly true. But I explain to them that after a few goes you get used to it and the pain turns into pleasure. But for many it's a leap too far.

"Gender fluidity" has now become a common topic of discussion back home. At some schools children are being taught that there is no such thing as male and female, heterosexual and gay. You can be whatever you want. Some schools have apparently told the kids they can wear either the male or the female uniform depending on how they feel on the day. Other schools have attempted to introduce unisex toilets.

Like Latin, I know exactly where I stand - I'm 100% gay. No "gender fluidity" here.

At times it certainly seems like it.

Some guys, like my Bangkok guy, get their inspiration from porn or from the fucking shows in Soi Twilight. I think it's a great idea because it makes the everyday sex very interesting. I have no idea what new tricks he has up his sleeve.
