Your post, quoted above, kittyboy, reminded me of two ways I was taught to say, “You think wrong” in Thai:

kun kít pìt and kun kít mâi-tùuk

Well, you never know, remembering those words may come in handy one day for some of our members when they are out with their boy du jour.

For example:

Boy: I thinking you buy me new iPhone.

Customer: kun kít mâi-tùuk

And lastly, I still think the comment by paborn, quoted below, best sums up this topic:

Do older farangs really address their off-boys as "khun" when speaking in Thai?

Oh God, I thought I was done with a topic that is nothing more than the fevered dream of a farang retiree with nothing to do. But:

Seven days a week you can book a gambling cruise from ports in Florida, Gambling cruises have been run for ages as day cruises from New York - I've been on them. Gambling profits more than make up for "operating costs" Why do this? For the simple reason that US gambling laws ( casinos outside the states of Nevada & New Jersey are all on Indian reservations and under trtibal law ) stop at the 3 mile limit of territorial waters.

By the way, the remark about higher costs used to flaut the example of already existing restaurants is remarkable. Gambling profits are astronomically higher than restaurant profits.

I was using my phone when waiting for dinner guest. It may surprise some posters that there are busineses near yensabai,owned by muslim, that you can have a conversation with.
For those with a Viet boyfriend that no longer visit Thailand, that may be a surprise.

MFAS those Arabs were probably shouting about a drunken gay guy, that crashed his motorbike with a well known gay contributor as passenger

To my knowledge casinos around Asia are built in classy areas - look at Macau and Malaysia.

Or at border crossings, like Poipet and Koh Kong (both Thailand to Cambodia).
