But it seems the reason some many people leave sawatdee, is because of the I am richer than you attitude some of you allude to.
As I look at other forums I see many people who have been forced out of this forum,by people who think they are better than others.

Interesting, I don't recall bragging about riches, I have no condo in Thailand,I make -at most - a trip a year. I admidt to a little envy of those who can work from anywhere, are able to live abroad. When it came to retirement I decided to stay in my own country for many reasons. None of that lessens my respect for others nor does their , perhaps, better station in life cause me to dislike them. Finally, when someone makes a racist comment and you post it , without edit, then you assume responsibility.

A former morbidly obese owner specifically outlawed the posting of PM's on the board - I've had a cursory glance at the current (extremely fluid) "Rules" and can see nothing prohibiting this any more. Maybe I missed it though.

What I did find was this:

3.1.3 Owner(s)/Moderator(s) will not attempt to obtain personal information. Nor will they attempt to verify accuracy of posts.

Which is interesting because posts have been deleted with "not factually correct" given as an excuse. The excuse was also a lie btw - so you can easily guess who was involved at the time.

Meanwhile the totally illegal Casino seems to continue to operate with impunity
