Because this one was generous, baked to order, plenty of meat, cheese and sauce, nicely gratinated and served with a crisp dressed salad and fresh bread and butter.
I was there for a late lunch today I had this dish....all these are frozen and when ordered are microwaved...it came with a small salad and day old bread, the tomato sauce was excellent, the noodles were overdone...not bad but not superb.

Would it be a “trite” comment if I express surprise at a Lasagne dish containing noodles?

I’m sure Arsenal demanded chips and Heinz tomato ketchup with his

Lasagnegate. An SGT mini series starring arsenal as an undercover food reporter, Francois as the pasta policeman, MFAS as the unwitting victim of a noodle substitution and stale bread conspiracy and Scottish as his usual self. Let the credits roll.

A pasta by any other name would taste as good as another noodle.
Ask any traditional cook. What recipe?

Now most of them are rubbish but that's not the point. They're pretty cheap and by the time you've got there and had a mooch about then a coffee and gone back home it's taken up the main part of the day. Alternatively rent a motorbike and with a full tank of petrol and money on your phone head off and see what you see.

I can tell you that a longish ride through the Pattaya hills followed by a sensual massage and soaping down by a hot Thai masseur takes some beating.
Arsenal, Thanks for the suggestions, but none of this sounds of interest, except for the sensual massage. I would definitely NOT want to visit sheep farms, dolphin shows, croc farms, even if I were paid to do so. Perhaps I should just stay in Bangkok.....

You mean you don't want to see the Sanctuary of Truth?

Werner, if you don't go to Pattaya you will regret it. I avoided it for a decade and, now, can't think of any reason to stay in Bangkok.

Not true at all. Tradiional Italian cooks know that pasta shapes should be selected to compliment the type of sauce to be used. It's basic to Italian cooking

Is that what you tell your partner when he sees you naked for the first time?
