    Marrakech

    Hi guys!

Has anybody been to Marrakech or Casablanca recently and can recommend some good places for cruising?

Also, can anyone recommend a good Hammam or bath house for male massages?

    Thanks!

    Re: Marrakech

It's not as open as it used to be, but in Marrakech at day or night in Jemma El Fnaa a gentleman on his own can expect to be cruised, similarly at night only in Mohammed V Square In Casa. From the latter the usual Moroccan problems of getting a guy into your hotel, were circumvented by one young man asking another young man, who said he had a friend, whose room we could use. We took a taxi and the room turned out to be in a Tower Block in the suburbs and had no electricity. The candles were romantic and the whole thing was quite an adventure, but I never felt at risk.

As we left afterwards the young man with whom I had had fun turned to me and asked if I was familiar with the Moroccan tradition of giving a present to young men with whom you had shared an experience. I was able to reassure him!

Awesome, thanks Brad! Did you visit any Hammams while in Marrakech - anything of interest happening there?

I read some comments on a hammam called "es salaama"
It must be in the neighbourhood of the Jardin Majorelles.

No, I didn't visit any hammams recently. Put off by a visit to one thirty years ago that provided the most painful massage in my life!

Bert, where did you read the comments and what were they saying..........

Take a table at Café des Nogociants at Place Abdul Moumen on the major road Avenue Mohammed V. It wasn't long before we attracted the attention of a very attractive and extremely persistent young man.

it's in Marrakech. Avenue Mohammad V is a really major road and ought to be shown on maps.
