I haven't been here for a while, but a text from Ronan prompted me to return for a short visit. Ronan, thanks for your message - I've no credit in my phone, so can't reply directly. I'm doing okay. My best friend of 20 years died recently at age 69. We went to Pattaya together for my first trip back in the day. He never made it back. I miss him so much. In his memory, I'll be doing a safari in Kenya when my small pension kicks in about 3 years from now. He did a lot of work there, training teachers in special education. So it's unlikely I'll return to Thailand, but you never know.
I hope you're all doing okay - Ronan, colmx, NIrish, Scottish (bf still with you?), Smiles, bobsaigon, and any other reprobates I've missed. Take care, guys. My memories of Thailand are stored safely in my heart.
