I did send money online when I was in Thailand to two boys. Both of them I met several times before the money request came, the money request was not sex related, and it was just once (not regularly as in the OP).

Geez, reading these responses, some of you guys really need to find better companions.

I sent some money today just to be a good husband, and I got chewed out over it via a Line voice call. I know we're not rich or anything, but fuck, I'm just doing my job here of taking care of us. No reason to get pissed off.

It involves inflating the farang's ego, making him feel grand, making him feel special and making him feel that he is better than other farangs. Then they make the farang feel guilty, jealous, vulnerable...before going for the kill... As it is the farangs who come to Thailand are already susceptible to these machinations, having been ignored, 'invisible' and unwanted back home.

Just how do you know all this, sglad? Personal experience?

Yes, legally speaking we're married under Canadian law via a common law marriage. If he was in Canada right now, he'd be legally capable of sueing my ass for 50% of everything I have.
