Great Scot! A topic question has actually been answered. Well done you françois!

Now lonelywombat can report back to his angry friend and all will be well in the time life continuum.

    What a blessed relief!

I meant to say, I believe the building is still there and is vacant.

Oh for the love of God, françois, I thought this question was settled beyond all doubt. Now you say you only “believe” the building that housed Howards Hotel is still there, but vacant.

With such an important question as this, we need absolute certainty. Let’s not forget that lonelywombat said:

Can anyone in Pattaya resolve this critical query and rid us of this outstanding question once and for all?

Come on, where is your humanity? Don’t forget, the poor angry friend’s blood pressure must be going through the roof with all this rage he is feeling not knowing what the hell is happening at the building that housed Howards Hotel.

And between you and me, dear reader, I have been losing sleep worrying about this issue. So someone, anyone, get round there pronto and end the great unsettled issue of the day.

My understanding is the vacant Howard's, the demolished building, the building behind Howard's and the old Day-Night Hotel (off South Pattaya Rd and remodeled as The Boutique Hotel) were purchased by the same Chinese developer. All these buildings had issues with building code violations at one time or another. Punya, the Howard's owner, and now owner at the Sansuk Sauna can tell you the whole story.

Haha. I'm sure he can but I bet he won't.
