On the subject of Dream Boys-do they still have the same nice "mamasan" guy? Was there about 3-4 years ago and he was kinda fun. Didn't mind tipping him a bit.

I recently discovered Royal House. Several lads I like at Dream Boys, told me they work at RH during the afternoon.
One doesn’t have to pay an off, buy drinks or go to a short time room.

Upstairs, after using the toilet, I went to wash my hands, but discovered the wash hand basin in the toilet had no running water. Even if it had, there was no plumbing under the sink so the water would have spilled out on to the floor. Interesting! My masseur escorted me to the shower stall. Hmmm . . . there was no soap or shampoo in the shower. Just as well I had showered before I left my hotel.
There was no relaxing background music, which I occasionally enjoy, as it helps me unwind and enjoy the first part of the massage.

Don't have any recent info to offer on Royal House as it's over a decade since I've visited. But on the Dreamboys Bar connection I did visit there recently on last trip and while the man-boys with tatts are not my preferred kind of lad, I found the guys there made an effort and were good fun, also there were 2-3 very attractive/cute/handsome lads in the line up and if Dreamboys lads are an example of the attitude over at Royal House then it would seem a visit could be worthwhile.

Dab69, I think I know the mamasan in Dreamboys you are referring to, if it's the same guy, yes he was a lot of fun and previously worked at Krazy Dragon where he was just as amusing and enthusiastic. He wasn't there when I visited in Feb, but there are now two older mamasans at Dreamboys and although try to chat with the 'which boy you like etc' line they will leave you alone if you indicate you don't require any 'help'. In fact I also ran into them at Silipin Issan one night and they invited me over to their table to 'chink' glasses and top up my glass, (I didn't as was on Vodka rather than 285) but they were very polite/chatty, they also had 3-4 very cute lads at their table, probably 'Dream' Boys.

Thanks to Jellybean for his 'detailed' Royal House visit, over at Gay Thailand there are tons of massage shop reviews but only very few here, I know many here do use the massage shops so it's good to get recent updates. Anyway just to advise that the same type of man-boys at Royal House are also available round at Helios Massage (formerly Blue House) just down the soi from Tuk Com. The attraction might be for some (given Jellybean's experience at Royal House) is that they have good in-room shower cubicles with shampoo/soap etc and hot/cold water as their standard room so no valuables security concerns. They do have some kind of piped music as I remember but if you have music on your phone or MP3 they are quite happy for you to put it on speaker, and as noted by Jellybean it does add to the relaxing atmosphere during the main massage for me.
