Hitchhiking's more of a challenge on the road less travelled.
I've observed over the years that in many (most?) cases where gay men are targeted for murders it transpires that the perpetrator turns out to be a gay or bisexual man himself - so the story doesn't surprise me.
The French have a saying for murders - "Cherchez la Femme" but my schoolboy french (that's not a euphemism for my early sexual experiences) does not stretch to translating "Look For The Poof" - perhaps Francois can assist
Cherchez le pédé.
Dans le Place de Sunee, sans doute

Not same same as pedo.
I never mentioned pedo - I checked the etymology when you originally posted the word because it did look like it.
Not that anything like that would go on in Sunee anyway - it's all meat loaf and incontinence pants these days isnt it?
