There is that potential, yep. There is also the potential he genuinely loves me, and will stick with me because he knows he'll never find someone who loves him more or treats him better than me. Regardless, I'm not going to intentionally hold him back in life out of fear he may leave him some day, because if anything, doing so will only help ensure he leaves me in the future.

Yeah, being in love like this can be scary at times, but it's worth the risk. What's the laternative? Live alone, eat crap microwaveable dinners every night, spend my time chasing down broke students and rice farmers for a cheap fuck? Who would want a life like that? Well, aside from probably 80% of the membership here, who would want a life like that?

I don't think he'll leave me though. He loves me too much, and I treat him too well, plus have raised his desire, ambitions and possibilities for this life immensely. That's not exactly something you forget. Besides, he blames himself for me going blind, so that somewhat helps too, as crude as it sounds.

Maybe 10 times - not too sure.

    No unfortunately. That's one downside.

There's more to life than cock (and bum, as Kittyboy pointed out) - though you wouldn't know it from the viagra-fuelled septuagenarian sex fiends that inhabit this board

What is more to life than cock or bum? Primary reason to live in or visit Thailand.

Low cost of living, very handsome guys, friendly locals, stunning scenery, English widely spoken. Yes, I'm thinking of retiring to Nepal!
(But, then again, Thailand has some advantages as well )

Geez, only 3 years of residency, and you can apply for citizenship? That's quick! Not saying it's right or wrong, as I have no clue about US immigration law, but that is quick compared to most other Western nations. For example, I know if we were to start the process today, it would take a good 10 years before Leo had a Canada passport in his hands, and it'd require us to live in Canada about 6 of those years.

Anyway, all the best to the two of you, and hope Trump doesn't fuck everything up for you guys due to the immigration reform being currently debated.

Just because Canada is a socially backward country, Matt, that's no reason to use it as a yardstick for "most other Western nations". Of the "white Commonwealth" it's in fact the worst country in terms of length of residence. Five is the highest (New Zealand - the same as France). Only Spain seems to have a more onerous requirement during a quick review (a simple whip around via Google would have shown those figures up but as we now know that simple task is beyond you. The blindness perhaps - always a convenient excuse for you?)
