I have been to Tinnie's my share of times. I was a bit reluctant at first: I have heard nothing good about English cooking so I figured Australian food was even worse. Surprisingly, I have not tried the pies, but everything I have eaten there has been delicious.
Following recent recommendations I popped in for a bite to eat. The decor is super cool with a nod towards a 1950s American diner. I had the chicken mornay pie and ordered it naked. That's the pie, not me (filthy minds you lot have) which is without mash or gravy. Very nice it was with light crispy pastry and a generous filling. With a fresh and pleasant not too seet tasting apple juice the bill, including tip came to 244 baht. I'll certainly go back.
