Looking at their website I see the Copa Hotel still appears active.
Wishing I had thought of this last February when I usually vacation.
Staying there would be as close to being home when Cafe Royale is closed

Really? All I have seen over the last 20 years is a slow steady decline - I'm not questioning your opinion (you're completely entitled to it) but can you cite some of the improvements you have seen?

As for it still being "our number one spot", I agree because it provides the type I am attracted to (twinks), and all readily available - but as a general "gay centre" (rather than just a hotbed of prostitution) I believe BT would now struggle to make the top 3 in the world.

As I say, take away the prostitution from BT (which I admit is the major attraction) and there's actually very little left nowadays. Where can you even sit down and eat now apart from the Ambience?

Yes, makes sense. But, at my age the off system keeps Pattaya way at the top. Long time, if ever, that I could score in Barcelon, Ibiza and the like.
