Anyway, looks like things will be ok for us. I don't know, I've had a REALLY hard time letting this one go.

He starts English language lessons today though, so good. 500 baht/hour though, so not exactly cheap, but hopefully quality. School is owned by some guy in his 60s from Texas, and seems like a nice guy. If you can't read, you can't learn, so price doesn't really matter -- he needs English.

No, no. For example, he bought some books on software development, but they've just been gathering dust for months, because he's unable to read them.

I have clients from all over the world, and everyone converses with me in English. If he wants to stand on his own feet like he desires, then first step is to up his English game. We're working on it now.

I read this through, over time, and never felt the urge to post. But, he bought books he can't read sort of answers your question - one of your or both are crazy. Especially if you think anyone believes this.
