Even worse, this post will probably be useless to European football hooligans like yourselves.
I've been flying 'China Southern' for a couple of years and it has very very good metrics across the board.
Excellent food and service, always on time (at least on my usage), some excellent Chinese dudes (staff!) eye candy to be had at times on the long leg, very good biz stop-over lounges in Guanjou and Vancouver.
Better still, very good deals to be had for both Business and Premium Economy ... and China Southern has a superior PE in my opinion.
Just another reason why I love living in Thailand
I didn't have a problem finding a comfortable armchair in departures in Swampy. On the same level as all the shops and cafes.
Hitchhiking's more of a challenge on the road less travelled.
The seating appears after you've passed all the shops. They don't want you sitting down there! They want you off your bum and spending, spending, spending.
If only they had modelled swampy on Singapore Airport! There they treat you as a traveller first and shopper second. They've even got free tours to downtown to take you out of the airport and away from all the shops.
